Mood

I was tasked with conducting primary research through a self-tracking or life-stream movement study. The goal for the project is self-discovery and a design that tells an interesting story with an information-graphic poster.

My design solution graphs the general moods that I had throughout the day, and calls out all of the factors that may have influenced them. Based on the color-changing mood rings that became popular in the 90s, the quantitative scale for measuring my moods is CMYK spot colors. I built the horizontal gradient based on the colors in the mood ring color chart. The typography and graphic elements are inspired by scientific cosmographs and radiology charts.
